Good day . I want to bring to your attention a film masterpiece old Ukrainian cinema of the former USSR - " Lost Letter " issued by the Kiev Dovzhenko film studio in 1972.
The film " The Lost Letter " had a great influence on me and many people, it was like a hymn to freedom and independence of every individual in a stagnant Soviet times. Film based on the early works of Nikolai Gogol and Mikhail Storozenko showed the beauty and originality of the Ukrainian culture . I had the impression while watching films that seemed the very soul of Ukraine singing , waking up from a long sleep . Nondescript , genre film serves only plus of this film product . I myself characterize the genre of " Missing credentials " as a comic mysticism, or even fantasy . Adventures , lively sparkling humor dashing fight scenes , horse tricks , great music , great songs , will not leave anyone indifferent bude who watch this movie .
One of the biggest films - it's incredibly professional acting, in particular Ivan Mykolaychuk phenomenally performed the role of the Cossack Basil and Theodore tanner as Zaporozets Andrey . Many people rightly believe Ivan Mykolaychuk best actor of all time in Ukraine . Mykolaichuk using intonation, complex facial expressions , gestures unforced managed to put your heart into their roles , all of his characters , including the Cossack Basil literally revived and began to live as if their separate lives , causing complete empathy . I would also like to note gorgeous Ukrainian songs and music that sounds throughout the film in the execution of Ukrainian folk artistes , including Nina Matvienko . Also, the film is interesting that it was first publicly performed "Zaporizhzhya march" - march composition on the theme of Ukrainian folk songs recorded in the late 1940s by Eugene kobzar Adamtsevicha .
Also impressed me detail and historical accuracy of the film " The Lost Letter ". Culture and life of the Zaporozhye Cossacks passed very true . For example, specifically for the film used the main fighting banner new Zaporizhzhya Sich (1734-1775) crimson banner Cossacks Emperor bestowed for military merit . Sabers, muskets and pistols which fought the Cossacks as the original weapon of museums.
Film almost no flaws unless it is possible to note a small rvanost movie in the beginning, which can be explained rigid Soviet censorship povyrezavshey whole chunks of the movie .
By the way the film is dubbed in two languages on Ukrainian and Russian . I watched both dubbing and advise to look at the Ukrainian language for those who know the language. Ukrainian voice is more precise and more yumornaya .
Overall, I recommend the movie " The Lost Letter " to all fans of good cinema , my score on a scale of five plus. All lovers of quality comedy with a sharp sense of humor , but without toilet poshlyatiny , I particularly recommend to watch this movie . Look, do not regret it.
